The human truth
Not everything is easy to say out loud.
There are things we carry quietly. Not because we're weak, and not because the people around us don't care. Sometimes it's just hard to find the right moment, the right words, or the right person.
Everyday pressure, relationships, family, loneliness, career uncertainty, a big change in life. These are ordinary, human things to want to talk about. SunoMitra is being built to give them a comfortable place to land.

What a Mitra means
Sometimes, being there is enough.
A Mitra is a trained peer listener. They listen respectfully, don't rush to give advice, share their own experience carefully, and respect everyone's boundaries. They are not therapists and don't diagnose or treat.
Empathy matters, but it isn't enough on its own. Everyone who listens on SunoMitra is verified, trained and assessed first.

We're planning to open on 1 January 2027. That date may change, and we'll tell you if it does.

Some people can't comfortably tell something to the people around them. We want them to be able to find a trusted Mitra who can genuinely listen.
SunoMitra is built around human support, boundaries, safety and belonging. It isn't a dating service, and it isn't a therapy marketplace.

What is SunoMitra?
A human-support platform where adults can find a trained, verified peer listener, called a Mitra, to talk with. Its promise is simple: you can talk, and someone can listen.
Is it open yet?
Not yet. You can join the early-access list and we'll email you when it opens. We're planning for 1 January 2027, but that may change.
Who can use it?
Adults aged 18 and over. We're starting with adults only to keep the experience safe and simple.
What does a Mitra do?
A Mitra listens respectfully, avoids rushing to advice, shares personal experience carefully, and respects boundaries. A Mitra is not a therapist, doesn't diagnose, and doesn't treat.
Is this therapy?
No. SunoMitra offers peer support, not clinical treatment, diagnosis or emergency response. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 112. For mental health support in India, you can call Tele-MANAS on 14416 (or 1800-89-14416).
How will matching work?
We plan to match based on the kind of support you want, your language, relevant lived experience, a Mitra's availability and capacity, and your private comfort preferences. We'll show a short reason for each match. You won't browse people like a catalogue.
What happens if no suitable Mitra is available?
We'll tell you honestly, and offer the closest safe alternative or a later time, instead of forcing a poor match.
How will privacy and verification work?
People will be verified through a compliant process, but profiles stay minimal, with no phone numbers or home addresses shown. Calls will happen in the app, and we don't plan to record them by default. We'll publish full details before launch.
How do reporting and safe exit work?
You'll be able to report, block, pause or leave a conversation at any time, and so can your Mitra. You won't need to explain or negotiate.
Will it cost anything?
Pricing hasn't been decided yet. We'll be clear about it before launch.
